Honey Vanilla Beans Ice Cream Recipe

Assalamualaikum and salam vanilla to all vanilla fans, hari ni fida nak share satu resipi dari allrecipe.com, which is honey vanilla bean ice cream, yup vanilla bean, but this time with video on how to make ice cream without ice cream machine tapi rasa seperti premium ice cream di supermarket, insyaallah kalau caranya betul, because terlalu byk trial and error saya lalui untuk mendapat stage soft premium ice cream sbb kadang kadang kalau malas nk beat or for some reason, ice cream jd crystalized and then x soft lah jadinye.... hehehe

all right, the ingredients are : 2 cups of milk ( i prefer fresh or full cream because of the taste)
                                           1 cup of brown sugar (packed - padatkan ke dalam measuring cup sepadatnya)
                                           3 tablespoons of Honey
                                           1 batang Vanilla Beans,
                                           1/4 teaspoon of salt, (to me, the salt melemakkan rasa vanilla ice cream)
                                           6 telur kuning (kita akan masak telur ni)
                                           2 cups of heavy cream / whipping cream pun boleh.


NOTE: SETELAH TELUR KUNING MASUK KE DALAM PERIUK SUSU, KACAU SEHINGGA JADI PEKAT SEPERTI CUSTARD, KERANA X NAK DIA JD TELUR SCRAMBLE INSTEAD OF CUSTARD. 

Seeloknya tapis masa panas, sebab bila sejuk dia jd terlalu pekat dan tidak dpt nk tapis, keluarkan vanilla beans dari custard tu, basuh and keringkan, simpan dalam balang gula atau garam, and anda akan menghasilkan gourmet vanilla sugar atau vanilla salt.

 Since i'm making ice cream without the ice cream machine, i beat the heavy cream until soft peak, then i scooped a dollop of cream into the custard mixture and fold it until the custard become lighter, then i mix in the custard to the cream and fold it until all combined. once combined, i freeze the combined mixture for 30 minutes. 

After 30 minutes, i scraped the icy custard on the side, and bring it to the middle and beat it again until all ice crystal is broken ( tiada nampak ketulan ais, masa ni dah malas nk ckp dlm video sbb dah ngantuk ). then i freeze again for another 30 minutes interval until complete 2 hours.

scrape off all icy custard and bring it to the middle of the bowl, beat it again until all ice crystal has broken and then freeze it. You can repeat it until 5-6 times, but i usually beat until 4 times every 30 minute interval. then i put it in a air tight container and freeze it until we eat it whenever we want.
